Austin Engagement Part 2 – Butler Park and Downtown Austin,TX
I FINALLY got around to uploading last weekends shoot. I usually don’t do two or “extended” engagement shoots but Rachel and Russ were such sports about me bringing my newborn along and having to cut the first shoot short because the little one was “done” for the day :-/ – that it was the right thing to do.
I have to admit we had a great time on their first shoot – but I REALLY enjoyed the second one. We all just “clicked” which I cannot express to clients how important this is for your photos.
October is going to be a super busy month this year and I cannot wait to photograph Rachel and Russ’ wedding!

Engagement shoot Austin, TX – Capitol & UT Austin
What can I say, these two are troupers! Saturday was very warm and a bit muggy, though there was a nice occasional breeze. Tackling most of our shoots outdoors, Rachel and Russ never complained! They were laid back, laughing and even easy going when my newborn’s cries echoed off the Capitol’s walls.
Since we had to cut our session short, there will be another installment soon.

Austin Engagement Photo Shoot – Downtown / South Congress / Butler Park
There are no words to describe how happy I am for these two! Jake is one of husband’s closest and dearest friends and when Stephanie came into his life, one could see how happy she makes him. I’ve loved getting to know her and spending time with them as a couple. Which is why I was super excited and incredibly honored when she asked if I would do their engagement photos!
Jake and Steph – many, MANY congratulations to you both! I hope you love your photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! And I cannot WAIT for your wedding this summer!
Austin Engagement Session – Isadora & Mike
I am not even sure where to start! I’ve known Isadora for just over three years and completely admire many things about her – especially for her journalistic drive!
Sweet, sassy and beautiful come to mind when asked how to describe Issy … and her love for Lady Gaga. ;-)
Heavy metal. That’s Mike. Haha – at least that is always the association I will have when he comes to mind – purely based off the fact that Mike and my husband bonded on their love for Metal and that Mike plays in a Metal band. Nothing wrong with that :)
In all seriousness, Issy and Mike are such a wonderful couple! They are so smitten for one another that it borders between being insanely sweet and “gag me with a spoon” – I kid. It’s insanely sweet and I am so happy for them both!
Along with seeing what the music selection will be at their wedding – I cannot wait to see what wonderful photos the talented Andrew Nenque (their wedding photographer) produces!
